things come and go
it is time for a change

there is a new bass person here now
his name is ant
he is a good guy

at the moment i am working on new stuff
have so many songs
they are sounding really good and it makes me happy
gonna put out some stuff by some bands real soon
i look forward to that
got a cool guy named blue that is gonna run this whole web thing
he knows his stuff
and it will run smooth from now on
i promise this
he has been down with the label since zero
and we hook up on shit all the time

studio is looking good
did some radical things to the walls

i can't work out how things should flow
i saw a movie on monday morning
at a cinema in cambridge
it was a sequal
i saw the original film 10 years ago in LA
ten years to the week
i realised this as i came out
felt pretty strange
i used to love going in to a empty theatre
catching a film during the day or really late at night
walking through the beverly centre at 3am
driving through westwood back to long beach
i must have caught 30 films a month
i used to go to this store on sunset that sold scripts
go hang out on a park bench and read it
then go catch the film
strange life i had back then
way back in the day
i am trying to write more
i get a bunch of mails each day asking questions
i am sorry if i don't always hit you back
i lose a lot of mail
i forget things all the time
keep trying and so will i
i don't really have time to go to bands web sites and download songs
just not enough hours in the day
so just send them in to me
tape or CD or whatever
the address is on the web site
just spent the day making music
feels good
pretty rare feeling for me
heavy songs
they hold both power and weight
it is 2 days later now
went to see proof of life
if you wanna hook up anytime
i'll be the guy at the back
at warner village east road on a monday afternoon
got ome more mac stuff
time is racing awaay
deceptive records stopped being a few weeks ago
that is a real shame
tony smith helped this band a whole lot
he gave advice and he gave his time
and for that i salute him
if you ever see him around you go buy him a drink for me
